  14. While every attempt has been made to make Moriarty as bug free
  15. as possible, it is certain that bugs will appear with different
  16. users and computer systems.  We would appreciate you reporting 
  17. any odd side-effects experienced while running this application
  18. on your PC.

  23. Canadian customers who desire the full implementation of Moriarty 
  24. called Moriarty X can e-mail or write us for details. Moriarty X has
  25. an encryption module which has an ultra-easy to use version of the
  26. famous "one-time pad" cipher system.
  27. The encryption module directly replaces the "System Info" module
  28. found in the Shareware version Moriarty 1.0 .
  29. Although this system has its critics,it is still the only unbreakable
  30. encryption system that we know of if used as directed.
  31. We sincerely regret that Moriarty X can only be offered to Canadian
  32. customers via direct land mail. Archaic Canadian laws consider this
  33. application to be munitions and not exportable.

  35. The Moriarty file viewer was never meant to be used to scan large
  36. files. It is meant to be a handy text file viewer to be used with
  37. the File Sleuth module and The Encryption Module in Moriarty X.
  38. Thus it has been limited to read no more than 59999 bytes from the
  39. start of any text file. If you try and view a binary (for example .exe) 
  40. file the characters MZP will frequently appear in the File Viewer window.
  41. Please remember this viewer is for text files only.  If you need to look
  42. at a binary file, perform a hexadecimal dump of the binary file in File
  43. Sleuth. You can then view the (text) hex dump file in File Viewer or any 
  44. other text editor.

  46. Registered users, who have e-mail may request a speed-optimized version
  47. of Moriarty 1.0.   Unfortunately, this application is almost double the 
  48. size of the original version. E-mail us for details.
